Prairie Giant: The Tommy Douglas Story, a two-part four-hour miniseries produced by Kevin DeWalt of Minds Eye Entertainment, received nine Gemini nominations, more than any other mini-series or television movie and was awarded in the following category: € Best Achievement in Make-Up: Donald J. Mowat, Paula Fleet, Jane Meade, Tracey George and Redge Dietrich Tamara Herrod The 21st Gemini Awards Broadcast Gala will be held for the first time in British Columbia from the River Rock Show Theatre at the River Rock Casino Resort on November 4th, 2006 and will be broadcast on Global Television.
